April 4 - 24 ALAN HAYDEN: Watercolour paintings, local scenes. Well known artist returns with his collection of original water-colours.
May 9 - 22 ANDY BLAKE: Acrylic paintings, including local scenes. Welcome back to this popular local artist. Andy is also very involved in the local Art Scene as Secretary of Christchurch Arts Guild
July 4 – 10 Charles Hallsworth “… like this remembered place …” a selection of oil paintings based on the artists experience in West Dorset . Charles moved to Bridport in 2007 but has been very familiar with the area for over 40 years. It is an area of outstanding beauty combining coastal and rural views and the occasional city scene. He runs a studio in Bridport but paints en plien air when possible and photographs or sketches otherwise, usually when the weathers not too great! His style hovers between Impressionism, post-Impressionism and Abstraction.
