Theme Woodland and Trees
There are many possibilities of creatively exploring this theme. Examples are silhouettes, studies of bark, groups of trees, parts of trees
Entrants could explore shape, form, texture, pattern or colour associated with the theme. Both Black and White and Colour images are acceptable.
TUTORIAL AND TRAIL
There will be a tutorial on using digital cameras at the Red House Museum on Saturday 28th July at 10:00 am followed by a guided trail (weather permitting).
Entrants to the competition may submit up to 5 digital images either in Black and White or Colour.
If submitted on the day, they will be uploaded onto computer, otherwise they can be sent on a CD or by e-mail. See ‘CONTACTS’ for details.

Reflection on Christchurch
An exhibition of work by members of CADArts all reflecting aspects of Christchurch. The exhibiton includes oil paintings and water colours of Mudeford and Christchurch, photography of reflections and the Priory ponies, marquetry depicting Mudeford and swans in Christchurch Harbour and painting on wood panels depinting local scenes.
Also on display is a Christchurch Triptych and collage and textiles from the 'Beyond the Fringe' Textile goup.
Poetry can also be read, supplied by the Writers Circle, taken from the entries for the Christchurch Quill competition of Autumn 2006; accompanied by youth entries reflecting on Druitt Gardens.
