Crafts in the Courtyard

The Red House Museum. 24th to 28th July 2007

The ‘Crafts in the Courtyard’ event was very successful during August 2006, and the Museum staff are very keen that we should do it again. The emphasis is on demonstrating and, if possible, providing a ‘have a go’ experience. Annette Wright had a number of visitors trying out her knitting machine, with children taking away a small piece that they had made. This activity is weather-dependent, but we were very lucky this year, unlike last year when it was rained off at lunchtime on three days! Crafts people will be contacted in the Spring to see who is willing to participate next Summer.
