CADArts Are pleased to offer FREE WORKSHOPS FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED In association with Tactile Textiles, the exhibition to be held at The Red House Museum in Christchurch from 5th July to 25th August 2008, CADArts are pleased to offer two exciting days of textile workshops.
Felt Making will explore the making of a felt fabric from wool fibres using water and elbow grease! Silk Paper Making will require less effort using delicate fibres and adhesive to create paper and a vessel.
Places are limited to 12 per session and must be booked in advance. Students may attend one or both sessions.
Carers are welcome to come and participate. (Children must be accompanied by a carer.) Each student will receive one to one tuition with a volunteer tutor.

It is hoped that some of the work produced on these two days will be displayed at the Tactile Textiles exhibition.
